Service change effective November 29, 2009

To help cover a $3.5 million budget shortfall, with the least impact to service, TriMet will implement a small reduction in frequency on several bus lines beginning Sunday, November 29, 2009.

Line 54 and 56 weekday service between Portland City Center and SW Beaverton-Hillsdale Hwy & Oleson will run every 17 minutes, instead of every 15 minutes, midday from about 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Weekend service will run every 17 minutes, instead of every 15 minutes, Saturdays from about 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sundays from about 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. During these times the service beyond SW Beaverton-Hillsdale Hwy & Oleson will run every 34 minutes, instead of every 30 minutes.
