How do I purchase a keycard?
Will my BikeLink keycard work at any BikeLink facility?
Yes! Your BikeLink keycard will work at any BikeLink facility, even in other cities/states.
What if I lose my keycard?
Can you refund the value on my lost keycard?
Your BikeLink keycard is like cash. The value is stored on the keycard itself, not on a network. So, it is not possible to have your keycard deactivated or have value on it refunded if you lose it.
What if I don’t have enough value on my keycard to pay?
We don’t want to leave you stranded. You can always re-enter and get your bike, but your keycard will be unable to gain access until you add value to it.
Can I add value to my keycard when it runs out?
Yes. Call BikeLink at 888-540-0546, or go to bikelink.org and click “Add value to card.” You’ll receive a code which you can use to add value onto your keycard the next time you are at a Bike & Ride or BikeLink electronic locker (eLocker).
Why charge for bike parking?
The minimal fee keeps non-commuters from using Bike & Ride facilities and the electronic lockers (eLockers) as personal storage units—it’s like charging towing and impound fees for cars.
