Locating a TriMet Vehicle ID Number

Use the vehicle ID number on your bus or MAX to help us identify your route and/or operator. Here's how to find it:

Back of a bus

On the back of the bus, the ID number is located in the middle above or below the window.

 Front of a bus

On the front of the bus, the ID number is located on the right under the windshield.
Side of a bus

On the right side of the bus, the ID number is located over the door.

Inside of a bus

Inside the bus, the ID number is in the upper right-hand corner above the windshield at the front of the bus.

Inside of MAX

Inside MAX, the ID number is located at the front of the car in the center of the bulkhead.
