(30-Day Passes can be purchased at any time of the month and are pre-validated for immediate use.) Calendar-month passes are still available at neighborhood ticket outlets and online in the TriMet Store.
1-Month Pass
Ride often? A 1-Month Pass could save you money.
A TriMet 1-Month Pass (also known as a "monthly pass") is valid for unlimited rides for the entire calendar month. If you ride twice a day or more, a 1-Month Pass could save you time and money.
- Valid for unlimited rides on buses, MAX Light Rail, WES Commuter Rail, Portland Streetcar and Portland Aerial Tram during the pass month.
- Valid for travel anywhere TriMet goes.
- Pre-validated at the time of purchase (no need to validate).
Reduced fares for youth, students, seniors and people with disabilities
Youth ages 7-17, students in high school or pursuing a GED, seniors age 65 or older, Medicare members and people with mental or physical disabilities may qualify for discounted passes. Learn more about reduced fares for Honored Citizens and Youth
How to use it
On the bus: As you board, show your pass to the operator and have a seat.
On MAX and Portland Streetcar: Be ready to show your pass if a fare inspector asks to see proof of payment.
