Get a TriMet pass delivered every month

If you're a frequent rider, you'll love the convenience of our Pass-by-Mail program, where we send you a pass each month. You can pay on a month-to-month basis, choose automatic billing on your credit/debit card, or pay for a year of passes in advance.

Month-to-Month Option

Here's how the Month-to-Month Option works:

  • If you're paying by credit/debit card, we'll send you your pass order and automatically charge your card each month, so you don't even have to think about it.
  • If you're paying by check, we'll send you your pass order and an invoice for next month. You must return the invoice with your payment by the 10th of each month to receive the next month's pass order. For example, if you want a February pass, your payment is due by January 10. You choose which months you want passes; you can even skip a month or two if you want. There's no obligation.

To sign up for the Month-to-Month option, download and mail the Month-to-Month Registration Form at right along with your first month's payment.

1-Year Pass Option (get one month free!)

Order an All-Zone, 2-Zone or Honored Citizen 1-Year Pass and you'll get 12 1-Month Passes for the price of 11 when you pay in advance. That's an entire month's worth of rides on TriMet absolutely free! (LIFT 1-Year Passes are available too, but at regular price.)

  • We'll send you a pass every month for a year. There's nothing more for you to do, except enjoy the trip.
  • If you're paying with your credit/debit card, please note that your card will be charged once for the total amount (including shipping and handling) in advance.

To sign up for the 1-Year Pass Option, download and mail the 1-Year Pass Registration Form at right along with your payment.

Shipping and handling

A $1.50 shipping and handling fee is added for each month's order.

Want to place a one-time order?

If you just want to place a one-time order for tickets or passes by mail, you can order online in the TriMet Store, or download and mail/fax the Ticket/Pass Order Form at right. (If you'd like us to mail or fax you an order form, call us at 503-962-2422, extension 3.)

Changing or canceling an order

If you need to change or cancel an order, give us a call at 503-962-2422 or write us before the 10th of the month. You may also contact us by email at passbymail@trimet.org.
