Coordinated Human Services Transportation Plan for the Tri-County Area

December 2006

The Coordinated Human Services Transportation Plan (CHSTP) combines the work of two large stakeholder groups who have been planning and implementing new and innovative transportation services for elders, people with disabilities and low-income individuals since 2000. The Plan incorporates the 2006 Employment Transportation Services Plan (ETSP) and Tri-County Elderly and Disabled Transportation Plan (EDTP), 2006.

The CHSTP reflects a further integration of the region’s ongoing work to identify the unmet mobility needs of these segments of our population and to coordinate among multiple agencies in developing and delivering cost-effective services and programs. The plan is a requirement for receipt of Federal Transit Administration New Freedom and Jobs Access and Reverse Commute funds
