Nighttime rides free on New Year's Eve

Free rides start at 8 p.m.

After 8 p.m. on New Year's Eve, all rides on TriMet's MAX and buses will be free.

MAX Blue Line service will run more often and later into the night. Buses will run on regular Saturday schedules.

New Year's Eve MAX service highlights:

15-minute service until midnight on Blue, Yellow and Red Line trains
30-minute service from midnight to 2 a.m. for Blue Line trains.
At 3 a.m., a final east- and westbound Blue Line train will leave Pioneer Courthouse Square
The Last Yellow Line train leaves Pioneer Courthouse Square about 12:30 a.m.
Red Line Airport MAX service is on regular Saturday schedule.

MAX and buses run on regular Sunday schedules January 1 and Monday, January 2.
