TriMet now offers summer shuttles to two parks
New Blue Lake Shuttle & Washington Park Shuttle returns Memorial Day weekend
Starting this weekend, TriMet will offer summer shuttle service to two popular regional parks. Both park shuttles begin service on Saturday, May 28, just in time for Memorial Day weekend.
New Blue Lake Shuttle
The New Blue Lake Shuttle runs on weekends between Gresham Central Transit Center and Metro's popular Blue Lake Regional Park. Riders can board at any bus stop along the route that runs on Division to Eastman Parkway, 233rd to Marine Drive, and to the park.
Buses run every 20 minutes between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays through September 5. The shuttle will also run on three Monday holidays: Memorial Day, July 4th (on Independence Day the last bus leaves the park after the fireworks at 10:55 p.m.) and Labor Day.
Washington Park Shuttle resumes
The Washington Park Shuttle enters its 7th year of service on Saturday. The shuttle is easy to reach by riding TriMet's MAX Blue and Red lines to Washington Park Station and taking the elevator to ground level.
Shuttles run every 15 minutes between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. and stop at all of Washington Park's popular destinations. The Washington Park Shuttle runs every day through Labor Day, and then weekends-only through the remainder of September.
