Former Metro planner joins TriMet

David Unsworth, of NE Portland, has joined TriMet as the Manager of Project Development in the Capital Projects and Facilities Division.

Unsworth comes to TriMet with more than 17 years of experience working with transit planning, environmental regulations and federal coordination on major regional transit projects.

Prior to joining TriMet, he worked at Metro in developing the original South/North program and the Westside, Interstate, South Corridor, I-205/Portland Mall and Milwaukie Transit Center projects. Before working at Metro, Unsworth worked as a long-range planner at the City of Portland and received his degree in urban planning from the College of Wooster.

Unsworth will be working on a range of projects, providing planning, communication and analytical support in project planning, implementation and community relations.
