TriMet runs regular service during Rose Festival Parades

For the first time, TriMet will run regular MAX and bus service for the Starlight and Grand Floral parades. MAX will run through downtown during both parades.

Starlight Parade highlights

MAX service

MAX Blue, Red and Yellow Line trains will continue to run through downtown during the parade. All MAX stations will be open. MAX will run on Saturday schedules, with increased frequency between Gateway Transit Center and Beaverton Transit Center until midnight.

Bus service

Buses will run on Saturday schedules.

Portland Streetcar service

Portland Streetcar will stop running about 6:30 p.m. through the end of the parade. After the parade service will resume, running until about 12:30 a.m.

Grand Floral Parade highlights

MAX service

MAX Blue, Red and Yellow Line trains will continue to run through downtown during the parade. All MAX stations will be open. MAX will run on Saturday schedules.

Bus service

Buses will run on Saturday schedules.

Portland Streetcar service

Portland Streetcar will not begin service until after the parade has ended. TriMet staff will assist riders during both parades at major MAX stations and downtown. Plan trips at trimet.org or call 503-238-RIDE weekdays, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Bike & Ride to the parades

TriMet is offering more options for cyclists during the Rose Festival when MAX trains will be full. Attended bicycle parking will be offered during both parades. Volunteers from the Bicycle Transportation Alliance will keep an eye on your ride during the parades if you lock it at the Beaverton or Hollywood transit centers.
