Yellow Line service Disrupted
Buses will carry riders along Interstate Ave
Yellow Line service along Interstate Avenue has been disrupted because of mechanical trouble with a train. Until service is restored, buses will shuttle riders among the 10 stations along the line. Yellow Line riders should expect at least 15-minute delays in the transfer from MAX to buses.
A MAX train near Killingsworth Station caused the disruption when the arm that connects the train to the overhead wires broke. It is unknown what caused the problem.
Crews are now inspecting the overhead wires to ensure they are undamaged before service can be restored. TriMet expects service to be out on the line for at least an hour.
MAX Blue Line and Red Line trains are running normally.
