TriMet adds service for Mariners vs. Beavers Exhibition game

TriMet is adding MAX and bus service for the Mariner’s game at PGE Park on Friday, March 31st. The exhibition game is estimated to attract close to 20,000 fans.

The game starts at 7 p.m. but many fans will arrive early when the gates open at 4 p.m. Large numbers of transit riders are expected for the game because of easy access to the stadium and due to the area’s parking limitations. MAX trains could be especially busy because the gates will open during rush hour. In addition, the Winter Hawks playoff game at the Rose Garden will end at around the same time as the Mariner’s game that evening.

Traveling to & from PGE Park

MAX Blue or Red line trains will take riders to PGE Park. Trains will run at least every 10 minutes before and after the game.

TriMet will have a shuttle bus to supplement MAX service on SW Morrison Street between 3rd Avenue and PGE Park. Shuttle buses will also be available after the game to alleviate crowding if needed.

TriMet Customer Service staff will be on hand to help guide riders.

Kings Hill/SW Salmon Station closed

For safety reasons, the Kings Hill/SW Salmon Station will be closed during the baseball game. MAX riders can board at PGE Park Station.
