TriMet adds service for Race for the Cure

More MAX & buses on busy lines

TriMet will add early morning trains and extra service on five bus lines to help riders get to the Komen Race for the Cure at the Waterfront Park on Sunday, Sept.17.

Extra MAX service on the Blue Line will begin at 6 a.m., with trains running every 15 minutes to get participants to the event. Red and Yellow line trains will all be double cars to add capacity for the event.

To supplement regular Sunday bus service, these lines will run more often, every 15 minutes, to downtown from 6:00 AM until 8:30 AM, when regular service will resume:

• 8-NE 15th Ave
• 12-Barbur Blvd
• 15-Belmont
• 33-McLoughlin
• 54-Beaverton Hillsdale Hwy
• 56-Scholls Ferry Rd
