Summer season begins Memorial Day weekend

TriMet's Washington Park Shuttle service begins its 11th year of service on Sunday, May 24. Service starts on Memorial Day weekend and provides a convenient way to visit Portland's popular summer attractions, including featured exhibits, concerts and other activities.

Ride the MAX Blue or Red Lines to the Washington Park Station and take the elevator to the ground floor. The shuttle runs every 15 minutes between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. with stops at these popular Washington Park destinations:

  • Oregon Zoo
  • Portland Children’s Museum
  • International Rose Test Garden
  • Children’s Play Park
  • Japanese Garden
  • Hoyt Arboretum
  • World Forestry Center Discovery Museum
  • Vietnam Veterans of Oregon Memorial
  • Oregon Holocaust Memorial
  • Hiking trails

The shuttle runs daily through September 13 and then weekends-only through November 1. Last year about 51,000 rides were taken on the shuttle.

Regular TriMet fares apply. Children six and under ride free with a paying passenger.
