TriMet extends service to Native American Youth & Family Center
Service begins September 2
TriMet will extend bus service to serve the Native American Youth and Family Center (NAYA) in northeast Portland.
The Line 75-39th Ave/Lombard will extend service to serve NAYA at NE Columbia Boulevard & 52nd Avenue. This extension is a weekday-only service between 8-11 a.m. and 3-6 p.m. where buses will extend service from NE 42nd and Columbia to a stop next to NAYA. The first day of service for this extension is September 2; the extension will not run on holidays.
"After meeting with NAYA representatives and students I wanted to make sure that there were transit options to connect to this vital community resource," said TriMet General Manager Fred Hansen.
