How to Read Online Schedules
Tips
- Be sure you are looking at the schedule for the correct day. TriMet uses different schedules for weekdays, Saturday and Sunday.
- Buses and MAX run on special schedules on major holidays. Learn more about holiday service
- Find the stop at or nearest the point where you will board the bus. Reading from top to bottom tells you the scheduled arrival times at the stops listed. Reading the times from left to right tells you how long it takes to travel between stops.
- Schedules show selected major stops along a route. There may be many stops in between stops listed on the schedule.
About Stop ID numbers
A Stop ID number is listed under each stop name on the schedule. You can use this number to get real-time arrival information from Transit Tracker™ on the web, from a touch-tone phone or from a web-enabled cell phone or handheld/PDA. Learn more about TransitTracker and Stop ID numbers
Service reminders
Schedules may change without notice by up to three minutes to relieve overcrowding or adjust to traffic conditions. Service can also be affected by construction, accidents and weather conditions.
You can check for any current detours or service disruptions at trimet.org/alerts or call 503-238-RIDE (7433) for real-time arrival information from TransitTracker™.
All buses, MAX trains and streetcars are accessible to people with disabilities.
