2005 Collectible Poster Series

"Things to Do"

2005 Collectible Posters

Whether it's hiking our region's parks, buying fresh produce at farmers' markets, heading out of town for a vacation by rail or plane, attending a theater performance or just relaxing at one of our innumerable coffee bars, TriMet helps you find the things you like to do.

And for our 2005 collectible poster series, Don Bishop created full-color depictions of our region's bountiful recreational choices—all of them accessible by transit.

Bishop used oil and acrylic paints in a hybrid of the tonalist and impressionist styles. These evocative works are true collectors' items, and are now available as five 24" x 36" posters. They make great gifts, as well as handsome additions to your own home or office.

About the posters

The 24" x 36" posters are a limited-edition print run using 10-micron Stacatto® screening in the print process to capture the colors and texture of the original illustrations. They are printed on a weighty, archival-quality paper stock for additional reproduction quality and durability.

About the artist

Bishop, who is originally from Southern California, has been creating art for about 25 years. He attended art school at Orange Coast Community College and California State University Long Beach, where he received a bachelor's degree in art. Bishop has been painting in the Northwest for many years.

This poster series is also available at TriMet's Ticket Office at Pioneer Courthouse Square.
