What's a Stop ID?
Every TriMet bus stop and rail station has its own Stop ID number. Each number is unique and may be up to five digits long. At locations where buses or trains travel in more than one direction (such as transit centers and MAX/WES stations) there may be a different Stop ID number for each direction.
What can I do with it?
You can use the Stop ID to get real-time arrival information from TransitTracker™ on the web, from a touch-tone phone or from a mobile device.
How do I find my Stop ID?
Enter an address or intersection in the Stop ID lookup box above, then click "Go" to find ID numbers for nearby stops.
Stop ID numbers are also available:
- on Trip Planner itineraries (following each boarding stop name)
- on TransitTracker countdown pages (below the stop name)
- on the Interactive System Map (zoom in to see stops, then click on a stop for details)
- over the phone at 503-238-RIDE (from the main menu, select option "1" (TransitTracker) to find your stop using the automated system, or "3" to connect to a customer service representative during business hours)
- on your Palm or Pocket PC using our Stop ID Directory
