Text transcript of this episode

We're dedicated to keeping your trips on TriMet as seamless as possible.

When there's a big disruption or a change in service, TriMet's friendly Ride Guides are out on the street... and ready to help.

Ride Guides are TriMet employees from various departments who volunteer to go out and assist riders in times of need.

Whether it's a major service change—like moving bus stops off of the Transit Mall or a planned disruption—such as construction on the Steel Bridge.

Ride Guides will be there, providing directions and answering questions.

Ride Guides also help out at high-traffic locations when snow and ice is affecting service.

At TriMet, customer service is part of everyone's job. Ride Guides are part of a team that includes customer service, operations and security staff... all working to help keep you moving.
