Transit Security Officer
As a Transit Security Officer for TriMet, you’ll patrol designated areas on foot or in a company vehicle. You’ll watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards — sounding alarms or calling for police or fire support when needed. In addition, you’ll provide assistance to TriMet riders, ensure that everyone is following the posted rules, and implement emergency response procedures when required.
