1-Month Pass

A 1-Month Pass (also known as a “monthly pass”) is valid for unlimited rides for the entire calendar month. If you ride twice a day or more, a 1-Month Pass could save you time and money.

These passes are no longer available for purchase

If you would like to exchange your unvalidated paper fares for credit on a Hop card, visit trimet.org/ticketexchange.

  • Valid for unlimited rides on buses, MAX Light Rail, WES Commuter Rail, Portland Streetcar and Portland Aerial Tram during the pass month.
  • Pre-validated at the time of purchase (no need to validate).
1-Month Pass

Reduced fares for youth, students, seniors and people with disabilities

Youth ages 7–17, students in high school or pursuing a GED, seniors age 65 or older, Medicare members and people with mental or physical disabilities may qualify for discounted passes. Learn more about reduced fares for Honored Citizens and Youth

When passes are available

You can buy next month’s pass as early as the 20th of this month at the TriMet Ticket Office at Pioneer Courthouse Square.

How to use it

On the bus

As you board, show your pass to the operator and have a seat.

On MAX and Portland Streetcar

Be ready to show your pass if a fare inspector asks to see proof of payment.
