Demonstrations and Transit Service

TriMet is aware of more gatherings planned in Downtown Portland and neighboring communities. We plan to operate our normal bus and train service at this time, as we closely monitor activities. If an area becomes too crowded or unsafe, we will make adjustments and could temporarily suspend some service with little to no warning.

These adjustments help protect the safety of our riders, employees and equipment, as well as those participating in the events and those helping to keep the gatherings peaceful.

Please be prepared for delays, possibly system wide, and service changes. Plan extra time for your trip. We’ll be updating trimet.org/alerts with service information, so please check before you go. If these areas become unsafe, we will adjust our service for your safety and the safety of our employees and equipment.
