TriMet’s Public Transportation Improvement Plan

In 2017, the Oregon Legislature passed the Keep Oregon Moving Act (HB 2017), which included a new statewide funding program for transit. The legislation requires TriMet to publish the Public Transportation Improvement Plan (PTIP), a two-year plan explaining how we will spend these funds to improve transit throughout the region, especially in low income communities.

During the next two years, we expect to receive approximately $183 million from the state. Below is a spending plan for the expected revenue. Please scroll down and let us know what you think about each of the plan’s components.
