40-Tacoma/Swan Island Updated route
40-Tacoma/Swan Island connects Swan Island, Rose Quarter, Portland City Center, South Portland, Sellwood, SE Tacoma/Johnson Creek Park & Ride and Clackamas Town Center via Basin, Cutter Circle, Going, Greeley, Interstate, 5th/6th, Macadam, Tacoma and Linwood. One morning and one afternoon weekday trip provides a connection between Fuller Road MAX Station and Cleveland High School.

After Friday, September 25, the morning and afternoon school trips to SE Fuller Rd will be discontinued. Board Line 40 or MAX Green Line at Clackamas Town Center Transit Center.
Effective Oct. 4, 2026 On Sunday, October 4, from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., no service to the eastbound stop at NW Everett & 5th (Stop ID 8886) and to the northbound stop at NW 6th & Flanders (Stop ID 9300) due to Portland Marathon.
Effective Oct. 4, 2026 On Sunday, October 4, from 5:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., for trips to SE Tacoma Park & Ride, no service to the stops from SW Harrison & 4th (Stop ID 2580) to SE Tacoma & 17th (Stop ID 5668) due to Portland Marathon. For trips to Swan Island, no service to the stops from SE Tacoma & 17th (Stop ID 5669) to 200 Block SW Harrison (Stop ID 2567). Expect delays.
