Beginning Friday, January 18, The elevator at NE 42nd Ave MAX Station will close approximately 3 months for upgrades. The MAX station will remain open, but access to the platform or to street level from the platform will be by stairs only. On Monday, January 21, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, MAX, WES Commuter Rail, and Portland Streetcar will run on regular weekday schedules. Many bus lines will also run on regular weekday schedules. Several bus lines will run on Saturday schedules, and a few will be canceled. TriMet customer service offices will be closed.
- The trip to/from downtown Portland takes about 38 minutes and costs $2.50 for Adults 18–64, $1.25 for Honored Citizens and $1.25 for Youth.
- You can easily roll your luggage on board.
- The first train of the day arrives at PDX at 4:43 a.m. on weekdays and weekends. The last Beaverton-bound train departs PDX at 12:18 a.m., daily.
