Transit arrival predictions based on historical averages can vary widely and be prone to error. New research conducted as part of the IMI project explores machine learning models for forecasting bus arrival times and ensuring more accurate predictions for travelers.

The Project Kickoff Workshop was held virtually Sept 14–17, 2020. The workshop was a key part of the two-year project to designed to develop a collaborative plan in conjunction with over 20 private and public project partners, including the FTA.
